Qualified referees
Team Canada Armwrestling Federation (TCAF) referees are the highest trained referees in Canada following the same training that WAF gives their world level referees. Four (4) steps are required to be a qualified TCAF referee.

Master referees are the best of the best referees. Their advanced knowledge of the rules and experience refereeing all levels of tournaments are unmatched.

Advance Senior referees are very experienced referees. They have great knowledge of the rules and experience refereeing all levels of tournaments.

SENIOR
Senior referees have very good knowledge of the rules. They are reliable head referees at tournaments. Experience and confidence is needed to move to higher levels.

ADVANCED JUNIOR
Advanced Junior referees have good knowledge of the rules and are able to start some matches under the supervision of a higher qualified referee.

Downside Referee - Most types of tournaments

JUNIOR
Junior referees have basic knowledge of the rules and should only act as a downside referee under the supervision of a higher qualified referee.
* ALL referees currently taking part in the referee seminar who have not been evaluated at a tournament are classified as Junior referees
