History was made this past weekend in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu! With 664 total entries, the 2024 Quebec Provincial Championships not only beat their own record from last year, but became the largest provincial tournament held in Canadian history!
Marc- Andre Campeau and the ABFQ team hosted the event at the Club de Golf St-Jean over 2 days. The competition was intense seeing some weight classes with more than 25 athletes vying for the coveted provincial title.
With 391 entries in the senior categories on Sunday, it was an eventful day with many hard-fought matches. The competition on Saturday featured 218 youth entries ensuring a very bright future for armwrestling in Quebec.
